Mountains, Yachts and Modern Art

Today we woke up reasonably quickly, went to the top of Mount Wellington (which was so pretty and from where we could see so much of Tasmania), and then we went to the port and saw Comanche, the winning yacht from the Sydney to Hobart. We then went to MONA (an art gallery) and had lunch there and spent a while there. It was really interesting and funny - my favourite bits were the trampoline with bells, and the 'fat car'.

'Comanche' at Constitution Dock, Hobart. The yacht is nicknamed the 'fat bottomed girl', and you can see why!  We saw it cross the finish line. They fired a big cannon when it won.

My favourite piece of art at MONA. It is called the 'fat car', and is a Porsche that eats too much!
