Oh no, we've run out of road! Now we'll need to find another country to explore!
31 Dec 2015:
Today we woke up quickly and packed our backpacks for a 14km walk to the most southerly point of Australia. We went swimming at the beach (which was freezing) and had lunch on the beach. Mummy and Daddy also had some sparkling wine because it was their wedding anniversary. We then walked back and had a swim at Cockle Creek (much warmer!). Hughie cut himself on an oyster but I was a fantastic doctor and fixed it up!
At South Cape beach, with Southeast Cape behind us. It was a hot 7km each-way walk to this south-facing beach.
The anniversary couple, through a love heart!
30 Dec 2015:
Today we woke up slowly, packed up and drove to Cockle Creek. Cockle Creek is on beautiful Recherche Bay and the furthest south you can drive in Australia. The bay was beautiful and it was hot and sunny. At Cockle Creek we went swimming and played frisbee in the water. We then walked to the end of the beach where there was a giant whale sculpture that we climbed on.
A sign at Cockle Creek.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Love the love heart pic.....Awwww!!!! Lxx
