The Murray Mouth & The Border Track, SA

At the mouth of the Murray River [near Goolwa, SA]

(05-08 Jan) This week we took the ferry back to the Australian mainland and drove to the town of Keith. On the way we saw the mouth of the Murray River, where the river flows into the ocean. There was lots of water. There was lovely green grass in Keith and we went to a really good park which had a monorail slide.

Then, we drove along the Border Track. This is a 4WD track which goes along the border of South Australia and Victoria. It took us two days to drive the Border Track, and on the way we got stuck a few times in the sand.

On the Border Track in South Australia. The fence behind Hugh is Victoria.
