The brown waters of the Darling meeting the blue waters of the Murray
(09 Jan) Today we saw a lock in the Murray River. A lock is a gate for boats to go through, so that they can go up to higher water or down to lower water. We also saw where the Murray River meets the Darling River. The Murray and the Darling rivers are the two longest rivers in Australia. Where they meet the Darling river is brown and the Murray river is clear.
