(29 Oct): Today we were camped just 2m from the ocean looking out over Dirk Hartog Island. We got in the car and drove the very last 8km to Steep Point, the westernmost point of the Australian continent. There was a wild ocean and very scary cliffs. It was also very windy and I nearly got blown over.
