Albany, WA

The harpoon on an old  whaling ship in Albany. It's huge!

(18 Nov) Today we went to 'Whale World'. When we got there we realised the place is huge. Whale World is a place where they used to hunt whales to make lipstick and oil. We saw a boat they used to kill the whales.

  1. Dear Sabine,
Margaret River, Pemberton and Albany are lovely parts of W.A. aren't they? Many years ago we visited the
old whaling station at Albany when it was in use.
We wonder where you will be going next??- we didn't know there was a chocolate factory at Margaret River!! A great photo of you climbing the Gloucester tree at Pemberton - good effort! What a wonderful variety of things you are seeing and doing.
Well done and keep enjoying yourselves - loved Hugh's photos
Much love to you all - Winsome & Edie
