Pinnacles Desert, WA

Playing hide and seek at The Pinnacles. Can you see me hiding?

(06 Nov): Today we woke up early, packed up quickly and drove off to Northhampton and camped there for one night. It was a little country town and it was the weekend when we were there so nearly everything was closed.
The next day we packed up super quickly and stopped at Geraldton to go on a train ride, but this wasn't an ordinary train ride. It was a mini train that only fitted ten people or so. Then after we had two goes on the train, one on the electric and one on the steam train, we got in the car and drove to Cervantes. When we had set up camp we went to see The Pinnacles. The Pinnacles are all different shaped rocks: some tall, some wide, some thin. They all looked different. It was lots of fun because there were hundreds but we were only allowed 100m away from the car when we played hide and seek.

  1. Wow your trip looks so much fun - i really like the photo of you freezing infront of the big pointy pinnacles! id like to take sascha and ruby there - it looks like aliens would live there! and i saw all your birthday presents and ruth blowing out the candles on the cake and lots of swimming holes and your bearded father and tanned mother! We can't wait to see you again but you have fun while you can and while you can have the best teachers you will ever have! here are some photos of ruby and sascha just so you don't miss them too much! xxx
