(29 Sep) Today we woke up slowly and got dressed in winter clothes and runners, because it is for safety in the mine. Then we got in the car and drove to the information centre and put on a hard hat, safety glasses and a safety vest. Finally we got on the bus and I sat in the right at the back, with the biggest window. We drove for about ten minutes up a big hill and all got out. We could see the big hole of the mine - the biggest iron ore mine in the world. Then we chose a tiny bit of every type of iron ore that was available and took it home in little plastic bags.
Now that's what we call a MONSTER TRUCK!!! (not like the ones in the cairns show!)

Hey I know those two miners!!! We miss you guys heaps and wish we were still travelling with you. Looks like you are having a wonderful time. I hope the mine tour was fun.
