Today we woke up to the sound of a helicopter landing.  It was a black helicopter with a maintenance crew to check on the lighthouse. We watched the helicopter land and then we went and had breakfast. We then finished packing up and started walking. We walked on the detour to South Point, which is the most southerly point of the Australian continent. We then walked the rest of the track back to the car. The walk was so hot and we were all frying, but then 4km before the end of the walk it started pouring and we got soaked. By the end of day we had walked 29.17km. When we got to the car, we drove to the campground, set up the camper trailer and relaxed.
