Wilson's Promontory lighthouse

Today we woke up very quickly, packed up the camper trailer and drove to Wilson's Promontory. We then spoke to the guy at the desk, had a hot chocolate and drove to the start of the lighthouse walk. We then walked 20.5km (which was a lot of walking) to the lighthouse. [The only way to get there is walking.] The whole journey took six hours, including breaks. There were a lot of hills on the walk; altogether we climbed 177 flights-of-stairs' worth of hills. When we finally got to the lighthouse it was super windy. We got shown our room by the two people in charge. We slept in the original house of the light-keeper that was built in 1859. We got a tour of the lighthouse and got shown the wombats that lived there. After that we had a rest. We then had dinner and went to bed.
Walking, walking, walking.

What an awesome continuation to the journey, I have your blog still bookmarked on my list!! My, my how much you two have grown up!!! Cant't wait to read all the news of the Adventurer!!!
